The unique GigaWave board is a high performance surf style shape. The I-Foam core and 6.5mm plywood stringer is laminated with a carbon deck. This creates an extremely lightweight and slightly flexible board, which translates to a super responsive feel on the water. The single concave hull incorporates details in the tail that reduce surface tension and enable the board to move faster through the water. The deck is recessed and lowers the rider’s foot position relative to the rail, which enables a stronger connection between rider and board. The hybrid rails are sharp at the nose and rounded at the tail, which increases the board’s speed and agility. The board has a triple fin box set up and comes standard with two small skim style fins.
